Alien Vegetation Memory Sticks

2007

XYZ Design and CraftSouthAfrica have combined their respective strengths in the industrial design and craft sector to train a group of historically disadvantaged crafters in the Northern Cape in the making of novel Memory Sticks from alien vegetation. By linking the crafters with the Department of Water Affairs and Forestry's Working for Water program, these products are now being produced. Apart from being functional and beautiful to look at, they are contributing directly to conservation. ...XYZ and CraftSouthAfrica are focused on combining hand-craft and higher-technologies to form uniquely crafted products that have market relevance.
